Pre-Interview Tips

I know that prepping for an interview can be stressful and overwhelming! However there are a few easy tips to keep in mind to help you before you go into your interview.

Google the company! It sounds easy enough but it can make a huge impression on the interviewer. See what news stories come up and check out their website. Taking 10 minutes out of your day is the least you can do if you are thinking of spending 40 hours at the job a week. Be sure to mention what you saw online during the interview. Simply state, “Oh I saw on your website you offer this program…” It will impress the interviewer to give you a job!

Practice! Think of questions they might as you ahead of time so you can be sure to prepare yourself. They will want to know what positive skills you have to offer their company. Think of these skills ahead of time so you can slip them in the conversation.

Question! Every interviewer will give you a chance to ask them questions you have. They can be simple enough such as questions about the schedule or their favorite part about their job. Asking a question will illustrate to the interviewer that you are serious about the job and you want to find the best fit for yourself.

These simple things will make a world of difference when the time for the interview comes!
